The relatives of the soldier, Natig Asimov, who slit his wrists on April 2 while on duty in Nakhchivan, believe that bullying and beating was the reason for the suicide attempt.
According to the relatives, the soldier had previously been harassed by officers, and on 2 April slashed his wrists after being beaten again.
Although he was saved and is now out of his coma, his condition remains serious, and he continues to rave.
The family believes that the soldier has suffered mental health problems since he experienced a hard blow to the head.
In turn, the press service chief of the Defense Ministry, Teymur Abdullayev, said that the soldier cut his hand in a state of reactive psychosis. -06D-
