Strong earthquake in Georgia was felt in the border regions of Azerbaijan
Baku/14.02.22/Turan: The earthquake that occurred late in the evening on February 13 in Georgia was felt in several regions of Azerbaijan. The epicenter of the earthquake was located near the border with Azerbaijan, so the tremors were felt in Gazakh, Agstafa, Ganja and Dashkesan, reported Gurban Yetirmishli, director of the Republican Seismological Center.
Note that magnitude of the tremors in the epicenter made up 6.2. In the border regions of Azerbaijan the tremors' magnitude reached 3.0 - 4.0.
Also, shocks with magnitude 4-5 were felt in borderline regions of Armenia.
There is some destruction in the area adjacent to the epicenter, no casualties are reported. In the capital of Georgia and a number of Armenian cities, people took to the streets fearing more tremors. -02D-
