Thale Bagirzade is not allwed to meet with a lawyer
The lawyer Jawad Javadov appealed to the Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov in connection with violations of the rights of his client, a leader of the Movement "Muslim unity", the theologian Thale Bagirzade. Before Bagirzadeh was taken on December 2nd to the Baku Court of Appeal, the lawyer saw the signs of serious injuries on the body of Bagirzade. However, he was not allowed to speak to his client. "They still have not created the conditions for my meeting with my defendant and relatives by not taking food and clothes," the lawyer wrote on his page on Facebook.
The lawyer also noted that, in violation of the legislation Bagirzadeh is detained in the Office for combating organized crime, and transferred to a detention center for more than three weeks, but had to do it in 24 hours.
Bagirzade was arrested on November 26 during a special operation in Nardaran, in which two policemen and five civilians were killed. Law enforcement agencies accused Bagirzade and his supporters in an attempt to seize power by force, terrorism, the creation of an illegal armed group and others. -06D-
