The action of women activists will take place in spite of the refusal of the authorities
Baku/03.03.21/Turan: The Baku executive power refused a group of women activists to hold a rally on March 8 under the slogan: "March 8 - for our rights!"
The city mayor's office motivated the refusal by "holding it in an area with dense traffic and pedestrians," said one of the organizers of the action.
The demonstration is scheduled for the Fountain Square on March 8 at 15.00 and is timed to coincide with the International Women's Day.
The organizers, despite the refusal of the authorities, intend to hold the action. Its goal is to focus on gender-based violence and murder. –21D-
