The ban on the use of the "yellow strips"
Baku/07.29.19/Turan: In connection with the completion of the European Youth the festival, on July 29 Baku lifted a ban on the use of the yellow strip on the roads of the capital.
The Baku Traffic Police Department reported that the restriction was effective since July 20.
"Yellow Strip" on the central avenues and streets of Baku was applied a few years ago for the unimpeded movement of special vehicles during major international events. -06D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
