Baş Prokurorluq Yanında Korrupsiyaya Qarşı Mübarizə Baş İdarəsinin əməkdaşı Emin Hüseynovun vəsiqəsi
The court found the actions of the prosecutor's office unlawful
Baku/28.08.19/Turan: On August 27, the Sabail court of the city of Baku considered a complaint against the inaction of the Sabail district prosecutor"s office in investigating the death of an employee of the General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General"s Office Emin Huseynov in Turkey.
The court found unlawful not considering the appeal, and decided on the implementation of subsequent procedural actions.
Relatives of the deceased claim that Huseynov was poisoned, and they turned to the prosecutor's office to consider the case.
Human rights activist Elchin Mammad told Turan that at a previous trial, Judge Azer Tagiyev gave time to the Sabail district prosecutor's office to express attitude to the issue of the death of Emin Huseynov. The representative of the prosecutor"s office, Ramin Almazov, stated that the complaint was unfounded.
In August 2017, Emin Huseynov died in Turkish Antalya, and his relatives sent a goon to the judicial authorities in connection with the inaction of the Sabail prosecutor's office. Complaints claim that Huseynov died because of lethal dose of poison. Human rights activist Elchin Mammad notes that the Turkish side has attracted several suspects in the case, but no measures have been taken in this regard. -0-
