The daily increase in COVID-19 cases continues to rise
Baku/12.08.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,674 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 576 people have recovered, and 14 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 12. This is almost 300 cases more than the day before.
In total, 359,732 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the pandemic, including 337,021 people recovered, 5,109 died, treatment of 17,602 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 16,575 tests for COVID-19 have been carried out in Azerbaijan.
Also, over the past 24 hours, 64,280 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in Azerbaijan. At the same time, the number of those who received the first dose of the vaccine was 43 943, and the second - 20 337.
The total number of doses of vaccine used in the country was 5,607,591 people. The first dose of the drug was received by 3,287,430, and both - 2,320,161 people.-06D-
