The facts of illegal performance of religious rituals are revealed
Baku / 18.10.17 / Turan: The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations (SCWRO) and the State Security Service (SSS) revealed violations of the order of the activities of religious communities.
According to the SCWRO, the staff of these structures conducted surveys on the addresses of the communities' activities "Religious Community of Binagadi District" (8th micro district, Ibrahim Dadashov Street) and "Religious Community of Irfan" (8th microdistrict, Azadlig Avenue 15).
In the course of the inspections, unlawful execution of religious rites by Jalal Akhadov and Ramin Hasanzadeh was revealed.
With respect to these persons, protocols have been drawn up on the commission of offenses under Articles 515.0.2. (violation of the procedure for holding religious assemblies) and 515.0.3 (organization of religious meetings involving children) of the Administrative Offenses Code.
These actions are punishable by fines from 1500 to 2,000 manat, and from 7,000 to 8,000 for officials. -05D-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
