The Food Safety Agency is monitoring for avian influenza
Baku/08.01.24/Turan: The Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency is conducting another epizootological monitoring against avian influenza on January 8-12. A general inspection of wild birds will be carried out in hunting farms, national parks, coastal zones, and their catching will be carried out to identify pathogens of the disease, the message of the department.
In addition, monitoring will be carried out in poultry farms and enterprises, diagnostic samples will be taken for laboratory studies. Employees of the Food Safety Agency, the Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Biological Diversity Service of the Ministry of Ecology, and the Center for Control of Dangerous Infections of the Ministry of Health will participate in the monitoring. Monitoring is also expected to identify pathogens of rabies and foot-and-mouth disease in cattle. –03B06-
