The government will hold a special session on Sovetskaya Street
The Cabinet plans to hold a special meeting to discuss the situation on the resettlement of people from the former Sovetskaya Street. The Speaker of the Milli Mejlis Oktay Asadov said this, responding to the MP Iqbal Aghazadeh .
At today's session of Parliament Aghazadeh said that compensation issued to the residents is not satisfactory and the amount of the compensation should be revised to solve this problem in a civilized manner, without violating the rights of citizens.
The speaker reiterated that no one will be forcibly evicted, and pledged to "express an opinion of Parliament on this issue, if necessary." -16B-
