The police seized 29 kg of drugs from a resident of Neftechala
Baku/09.01.24/Turan: Police officers found and seized 29 kg of marijuana and 1 kg of opium in the city of Neftechala. According to the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry on January 9, a previously convicted local resident Rashad Nagiyev was detained in the city of Neftechala, who organized drug trafficking under the guise of fishing activities. 28 kg of marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances and 1 kg of opium were found in his house.
Nagiyev said that drugs were smuggled from Iran by sea for sale in the capital. A lawsuit has been filed, and the detainee has been arrested. -0-
