The remains of the graves of 32 unknown martyrs were exhumed
Baku/03.08.21/Turan: The graves of 32 unknown martyrs were opened in Baku for the exhumation of the remains in order to examine the taken samples. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, an appeal for the exhumation and medical genetic examination of the remains of the bodies of martyrs came from the State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons.
On June 3, 2021, the Baku military court, on the proposal of the Republican Military Prosecutor's Office, made a decision to extract the remains of bodies from 23 graves in the first Martyrs 'Alley of Baku and 9 graves in the second Martyrs' Alley of the capital.
Employees of the prosecutor's office, with the participation of a forensic medical expert, ensured the exhumation and the taking of appropriate samples for medical genetic examination. Necessary activities are currently being carried out. Additional information will be provided to the public.
The exhumed remains belong to the martyrs of the first Karabakh war.-0—
