The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs considers that journalists interfered with police
Baku/18.03.20/Turan: Several journalists beaten today in front of the Turkish embassy came with a complaint to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where the head of the press service Ehsan Zahidov met with them.
After hearing a complaint about the actions of the police, Zahidov said that the journalists prevented the police from carrying out their work. Turan was informed by one of the affected reporters, Nurlan Gahramanov.
“Zahidov told us that we interfered with the actions of the police, but we stated that the police beat us brutally. He categorically rejected our claim and we showed him the video frames. After that, Zahidov said that the issue will be investigated,” the reporter told Turan. -21B-
