Baku/30.05.20/Turan: The resumption of flights to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) is planned after June 8, Chair of the Board of the Medical Territorial Unit Management Unit (Təbib) Ramin Bayramli stated at a briefing on Friday.

Flights to the NAR were stopped at the end of March and the inhabitants of the autonomy could not even go to other regions of the country on the most urgent issues, since there was no direct overland communication, and transit through other countries was impossible due to the closure of borders.

As for the resumption of other domestic and international flights, there are no concrete solutions so far. However, Bayramly noted that the number of domestic and international flights would be reduced. Reception of passengers on board will be reduced

According to Bayramli, the issue of issuing COVID-19 passports in the country is being discussed. These documents will allow passengers to avoid quarantine in the countries of arrival. –06D-
