The rivals of Azerbaijani football teams in European competitions have been determined
Baku/08.10.20 /Turan: During the draw on August 9-10 in Nyon, Switzerland, the rivals of the Azerbaijani football teams in the European competitions of the 2020/2021 season were determined.
The rival of the winner of the Azerbaijan championship FC "Garabagh" in the first qualifying round of the Champions League was "Sileks" from North Macedonia.
Due to the pandemic, teams will play only once during the qualifying stages. According to the draw, “Garabagh” will play at home. The match will take place on August 18 or 19.
The counterparts of three more Azerbaijani clubs, which will represent the country in the Europe League, have also been determined today. The rival of Baku "Neftchi" in the first qualifying round will also be a team from North Macedonia - "Shkupi 1927".
The "Keshla" team will play against the Albanian team "Lachi".
The debutant of the championship "Sumgait" will play with "Shkendia" from North Macedonia.
It is interesting that Azerbaijani teams will play at home in the Europe League as well. The games will be on 27 August. –06D-
