The State Property Committee presented its e-services portal
The State Committee for Property Affairs (SCPA) presented its e-services portal www.e-emdk.gov.az today.
At the presentation at the Dalga Plaza the SCPA head Ilgar Nabiyev said the new resource allows you to set transparent relationship between citizens and the institutions of the state committee, and to quickly provide electronic services for registration of property rights.
It was reported about 9 new types of e-services. For example, with informative and interactive features of the portal there can be made re-registration of property, one can obtain a certificate of real estate, to be informed about the sale of confiscated property and special reports about this property.
In the new resource there is also an integrated portal, launched by SCPA in May 2012, which allows for 7 days of receiving the documents for re-registration, and within 1-5 days - the information about the property.
According to the State Committee, in less than a year, they have received 3,500 electronic applications that have been considered.
The portal, which includes 13 kinds of electronic services has been established in accordance with the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan on May 23, 2011 "On some measures of organization providing electronic services to government agencies."
The new resource is an integral part of the "e-government", which is developed on the basis of the "National Strategy on Information and Communication Technologies for Development of the Azerbaijan Republic (2003-2012)" and is carried out in the framework of the State program "Electronic Azerbaijan".
The project "e-government" is carried out on the recommendations and funded by international donors, the largest of which is the World Bank ($ 30 million).
Last week, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan signed a grant agreement for $ 3.7 million with the South Korean Foreign Ministry, which will finance the establishment of training centers as part of "electronic government". -0 -

Amid the bustling scenes of this year’s COP29 climate conference, a protest against whaling and deep-sea mining, organized by a group calling itself the FINS Initiative, drew significant attention from delegates and observers. However, questions have arisen about the legitimacy of the group, as an internet search yields little evidence of its existence beyond scattered mentions.

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
