Baku/16.10.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past day, 1,681 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been registered, 675 people have recovered, 12 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on October 16.
To date, a total of 500,311 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in the country, including 477,639 people recovered, 6,746 have died, treatment of 15,926 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 13,168 tests have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 30 619 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 12 186 people, the second - 18 433 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today amounted to 9,168,970. Within the first stage of vaccination, 4,954,189 people were vaccinated, the second stage - 4,214,781 people.-06В-
