Another PFPA activist arrested in administrative order
Baku / 16.10.21 / Turan: An activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Elkhan Aliyev was arrested administratively.
This was reported in the PFPA.
“Elkhan Aliyev stopped communicating since 17.20 on 15 October. Only today it became known that he was detained and taken to the 37th department of the Khatai district police department and a protocol was drawn up under Art. 535.1 (not subordinate to the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Today the court arrested him on the basis of a fabricated charge for 20 days, ”the PFPA said.
The party noted that the real reason for the arrest is Aliyev's participation in actions in support of political prisoners.
Groups of activists are photographed in Baku and regions with portraits of political prisoners and then share this on social networks.
The PFPA indicated that Aliyev became the fifth party activist arrested in administrative order in the past two weeks.
