Three drug plantations found in Balakan
Baku/15.08.22/Turan: As a result of the operation of the Balakan region police department and servicemen of the Internal Troops, 7 people involved in illegal drug trafficking and cultivation were detained, the Interior Ministry reported.
During the operation in the mountainous part of the Balakian region, three drug plantations were discovered. There were found 1,098 cannabis bushes with a total weight of 900 kg., as well as 13 kg of dried marijuana, 2 hunting rifles with cartridges. In fact, Tajeddin Kaltayev and Elnur Aliyev were detained, marijuana was seized from them. It was established that they purchased drugs from Israfil Aliyev, who was previously convicted of drug crimes. During the arrest the latter was found to have 200 grams of marijuana intended for sale.-05D06-.
