Transfer of drugs and smuggling from Iran prevented
Baku/30.05.23/Turan: The State Border Service of Azerbaijan reports another attempt to transfer smuggled goods and drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.
On May 28, officers of the Horadiz border detachment detained Ibragim Guliyev and Jeyhun Akhmedov, residents of the Shakhseven village of the Beylagan region. During their inspection, a thermal imager for sniper weapons was seized.
On May 29, border guards detained Kamil Tanryrverdiyev, a resident of the Terter region, and Ramiz Ibrahimli, a resident of the Samukh region, who violated the state border from Iran. About 10 kg of marijuana and 30 grams of opium were confiscated from them.
