On 8 August the Turkish communications satellite TürkSat stopped broadcasting the "Azadlig" ( "Freedom") radio program Azadliq A-LIve. According to the radio, the official explanation of these actions by the broadcaster had been received.
It should be noted that Azadliq A-LIVE is a daily program, which is published daily at 8 pm and also broadcast on the Facebook page of Radio "Azadlig", through Youtube, and on the Internet page of the radio www.azadlig.org
Late in 2014 the radio office of "Azadlig" was arrested and is closed by the authorities.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has not been invited to observe the parliamentary elections scheduled in Azerbaijan for September 1. Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Aykhan Hacizade, stated that invitations have been sent to seven international organizations: the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, GUAM, the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Organization of Turkic States.

A new group of migrants from the Garadagh district of Baku has arrived in the city of Shusha, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons reported. Seventy-nine Shusha residents, comprising 21 families, have returned to their hometown.

Bahram Nuriyev, chairman of the Gabala branch of the public association "Young Gazis" (Young volunteers) and a participant in the Second Karabakh War, attempted suicide on Sunday, according to a statement from the association. Nuriyev reportedly shot himself with a firearm, protesting against what he claimed was untimely and inadequate medical treatment, which led to severe psychological distress.
