Two AZTV Employees Fied from Coronavirus in Two Days
Baku / 03.07.20 / Turan: Two employees of the State Television of Azerbaijan (AZ.TV) have died from coronavirus infection in the last two days.
So, on July 2, Etibar Babayev, the editor-in-chief of Film and Dubbing, and Samir Najafzadeh, director of the department of socio-political and analytical programs, died.
As of July 1, five more AzTV employees were treated in hospitals, one of whom recovered.
To prevent the spread of the virus among workers, the company conducts disinfection activities, and most of the employees work remotely.
Coronavirus has also infected 8 employees of the private television channel CBC. This became known after tests in one of the clinics.
So far, about 20 media workers have become infected with the coronavirus. -03B-
