Two Newly Infected with Corona Virus, Three Recovered
Baku / 10.03.20 / Turan: On March 10, the Corona Virus Prevention Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reported two more infected. These are citizens of Azerbaijan born in 1960 and 1984. They came from Iran.
They have been placed in a special treatment hospital.
Currently, the health status of the patients is normal and stable, and appropriate measures are being taken to treat them.
At the same time, it is reported that three previously infected citizens of Azerbaijan born in 1973, 1997 and 1998 recovered after appropriate treatment and were discharged home from the special treatment hospital.
Treatment for other Corona Virus infected continues; their condition is under serious medical supervision.
At the same time, the operational headquarters reported that as of March 10, 312 people whose suspicions of infection had not been confirmed were discharged at the end of the quarantine period. —06D-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
