Two people were killed as a result of a shell explosion in the village of Yashma
Baku/15.04.23/Turan: Two people were killed and another was injured in the Khizi district of Azerbaijan on the afternoon of April 15.
Explosion in the village of Yashma in the Khizi district of Azerbaijan (47 km away. north of Baku) occurred on April 15 at about 15.00, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan said in a statement.
According to preliminary data, it was established that the cause of the explosion was the seizure by residents of Sumgait Bakhtiyar Huseynov, born in 1976, Khankishi Guliyev, born in 1979, and Rashad Abilov, born in 2006, of a warhead from a projectile they found on this territory.
As a result of the incident, Guliyev and Abilov were killed, Huseynov received various injuries.
In fact, a criminal case has been initiated in the Khizi district Prosecutor's Office under Article 314.3 (negligence resulting in the death of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, the preliminary investigation continues, the press release further says. –06B-
