Baku / 12.02.19 / Turan: The activists of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Mahir Rustamli and Hidayat Rasulzadeh, who were detained opposite the Sumgayit Court of Appeal the day before, were sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
They were found guilty of petty hooliganism, the PFPA sources told Turan IA.
Recall that on February 11, five PFPA activists were detained in front of the Sumgayit Court of Appeal, where they came to support another member of PFPA, Zahir Mammadli, who was also arrested.
Three detainees were released, and two were brought before the Sumgayit city court today.
The PFPA believes the activists are persecuted for political reasons. -03B-
