Baku/07.08.20/Turan: On August 7, two more activists of the Popular Front Party were detained - a member of the Khatai regional organization Tural Atakishiev was detained in Baku, and Alisafa Isaev was detained in Gabala.
The PFPA believes that they were detained in connection with a street demonstration on July 14-15. For these events, 45 party activists were previously detained. Of these, 17 were brought to criminal responsibility, 15 were arrested in the administrative order. Another 13 were released after interrogation.
Another 10 members of the Popular Front Party, arrested before July 15, are held in prisons and recognized as political prisoners. –03B06-

One Indian citizen was killed, and another was injured in an incident at a company in the Absheron district. The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported the incident on January 13.
