Baku/27.07.23/Turan: Windy weather is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula in the next three days. On July 28, the speed of the south wind will reach 15-20 m/s, and from July 29 to the morning of the 30th, the wind will sometimes increase to 23-25 m/s. At the same time, on July 29 in the first half of the day in some places of the peninsula, wind strengthening up to 28-33 m/s is sometimes expected, the National Hydrometeorology Service informs.
On July 29, the air temperature in the country will decrease by 5-7° compared to the previous days - up to +25 +28°. Rains are sometimes expected in the mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan from July 28 to the 30th. In some areas there is a possibility of short-term showers, thunderstorms, hail. The speed of the westerly wind will sometimes reach 15-20 m/s, in some places – up to 25-30 m/s.
In rivers, an increase in water content is expected, in some mountain rivers there is a possibility of floods developing into mudflows. ---06B---
