Veteran protests disability denial
Baku/29.03.22/Turan: Sadi Jafarov, who introduced himself as a veteran of the second Karabakh war, held a single action in front of the building of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection on March 29. He protests against the refusal to award him the third group of disability.
Jafarov told reporters that he has not been able to get the status of a disabled person for a year now. “I don’t have money for medicines. If they give me a disability, at least I could buy them,” he said.
A representative of the Ministry of Labor, who came out to the protester, suggested that he re-pass a medical examination. Jafarov arrived in Baku three days ago from the Agjabadi region, where he lives. Due to the lack of a place to stay, he spends the night in the park.—06B-
