Volcanic Eruption in Shamakhi
Baku / 13.02.19 / Turan: On the morning of February 13, a mud volcano erupted in the Shamakhi region near the village of Gushchu (120 km from Baku).
According to the district administration, the eruption began at 6 a.m. 150 meters from the village near the sown areas.
The height of the lava was 4-5 meters, which spread around in a diameter of 1,000-1,500 meters.
The eruption stopped, but the process did not stop in the outbreak. As a result of the eruption, residents of the village and their homes were not injured, the regional administration said. -06D-
