Weapons and Ammunition Found in Forest in Zagatala
Baku / 04.26.19 / Turan: As a result of operational search activities conducted jointly by officers of the Zagatala District Police Department and the North-West Regional Center of the State Security Service (SSS), a suspicious hand luggage was discovered in a forest near the village of Kabaloba.
It contained a pistol of the type Revolver, a hunting rifle with 23 sleeves, 1 pistol of 4.5 mm caliber, two hand grenades, 680 cartridges for various types of weapons, 1 night vision device, 1 box of cartridges for a machine gun, 1 sports pistol with 2 magazines for ammunition and 1 9-mm pistol.
An investigation is underway, according to the Department of Public Relations of the State Security Service. -03D06-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
