Weather forecast for January 18
The weather forecast for Azerbaijan on January 18 predicts variable conditions across the country, with rain likely in some areas.
According to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be partly cloudy, occasionally overcast, with light rain expected in the evening and morning. Some regions may experience heavier rainfall overnight. A north-west wind will blow, and temperatures will range from 3-6°C at night, rising to 6-9°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will drop slightly from 766 mmHg to 762 mmHg, while relative humidity will be between 70-80%.
In the rest of the country, rain is expected to be minimal until evening, when light rain may start in the northern and western regions, with a possibility of snow in some areas. Eastern regions may experience intensifying precipitation at times, and there could be intermittent fog in certain places. A moderate westerly wind is anticipated. Overnight temperatures in the regions will range from -1°C to 4°C, with daytime highs between 8-13°C. In the mountainous areas, temperatures will drop to -5°C to -10°C at night, with daytime temperatures ranging from -2°C to 3°C.
Citizens are advised to take precautionary measures, especially in areas expecting rain and snow, and to stay informed about any sudden changes in weather conditions.
