Weather forecasters and Emergencies Ministry warn of bad weather
Baku/20.04.22/Turan: In Baku and Absheron on April 21 the weather will be cloudy, mostly without precipitation. Rains are expected in some places at night. A strong northwest wind will weaken by the evening. Temperatures will reach +10+13 at night and +15+18 during the day, according to the National Department of Hydrometeorology.
Note that rains with thunderstorms are expected in some areas of the country. Precipitation will be heavy in the northern and western regions, and snow is expected in the highlands.
The air temperature will be +9+14 degrees at night in the lowlands and +17+22 during the day. In the mountains, the night temperature will be +1+6, while during the day it will be +6+11.
In turn, the Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a warning to the population owing to the deterioration of weather conditions. Thus, the MES reported that the wind and rainfall would intensify in the evening on April 20.
During the next day, the population should take precautions and avoid standing under temporary buildings, billboards, tall trees and power poles.
It is also recommended to observe fire precautions due to the rapid spread of flames by strong winds. When it comes to thunderstorm, it is recommended that you unplug electrical appliances, do not talk on the phone (landline, mobile, etc.), nor approach antennas.-05D06-
