Weather to normalize (UPDATED)

On Sunday, it snowed almost everywhere in Azerbaijan. The snow cover in Sarybash ( Gakh ) was 42 cm, Khinalig - 30 cm, Kishchay - 26 cm, Dashkesan , Goygol - 22 cm , Ordubad - 21 cm , Guba - 18 cm , Lerik - 16 cm , Yardymly - 14 cm , Rvarud ( Lerik ) and Altiaghaj - 13 cm, Sheki and Kalvaz - 12 cm , Zagatala - 11 cm , Nakhchivan - 10 cm , Agdere - 8 cm, and Shahbuz - 6 cm.

However, the cooling process was short-lived.

From March 31 the air temperature will increase and the precipitation will stop. On April 1, the daytime temperature of +11 +13 degrees is expected in Baku. -03D-

The storm wind together with snowfall, which began in Baku in the second half of the day on Sunday, ripped off roofs and felled trees. There were about 30 such cases in Baku. According to unofficial data, a man was hurt by the torn roof of a private house in the Nasimi district of the capital.

In the Yasamal there was heavy hail, which damaged cars and broke glass in a number of places.
According to the latest forecast, the weather will continue on Monday, but the wind will loosen, with weak sediments. -0-

March 30 afternoon cold weather front reached the Apsheron peninsula and Baku and a snowfall began with a strong northerly wind. Air temperature dropped to zero degrees. For two hours the snow depth in the upper part of the capital was 5-7 cm.
Blizzard hampered traffic uptown, where visibility was limited, and there was ice on the roads.
 
According to weather forecasts, the return of the winter will last only a day and by Monday it will become significantly warmer.
In the mountainous areas of the country there were snowfalls and frosts and in the northern highlands the snow cover's height has already exceeded 20-30 cm.
It is difficult to move on the Agsu and other passes.
