Weather to stabilize and air temperature to rise by 4-6 degrees
Baku/12.01.23/Turan: Last night and in the morning of January 12, frosty snowy weather persisted on the territory of Azerbaijan.
Precipitation was intense in some areas, the National Hydrometeorological Department said in a statement.
Thus, the height of the snow cover in Lerik was 35 cm, Altyagach – 32 cm, Khachmaz – 24 cm, Guba, Shamakhi, Khaltan – 19 cm, Geytapa – 17 cm, Gusar – 16 cm, Gakh, Yardimly – 15 cm, Gobustan – 14 cm, Bilasuvar, Ismayilli – 10 cm.
Speed of the south-eastern wind in Shabran reached 20 m/s.
According to forecasters, from the afternoon of January 12, precipitation will gradually stop, and by the end of the week the air temperature will rise by 4-6 degrees. -05D06-
