The Prison Service has denied the information about the rebellion of prisoners in jail N16, located in the village of Romani.
According to Mehman Sadigov, the Head of Public Relations of the Penitentiary Service, today a group of prisoners demanded to provide them with benefits not covered by internal regulations.
The head of prison rejected their demands. As a result, the three organizers of the demands were isolated and placed in solitary confinement.
Mehman Sadigov denied the information that prisoners inflicted bodily injury on themselves.
According to unofficial data, there was a revolt in jail N 16. The prisoners are protesting against the detention conditions, and demand normal treatment.
The reason for the protest was that the two prisoners cut their veins. -16B04-
