OSCE Minsk Group fails to agree on a meeting of leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia
The OSCE Minsk Group again failed to organize the meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, ITAR-Tass quoted a diplomatic source.
"The next round, scheduled for June 12 in Salzburg, will not take place," the source said. He predicted that "it will be possible to speak about such meeting until late summer - early fall."
The OSCE Minsk Group, which includes Russia, USA and France, acts as an intermediary in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
Last time the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia met in June 2011 in Kazan. After the meeting, the sides exchanged aggressive statements, accusing each other of the breakdown in negotiations and insincerity.—16D06-
