Baku/20.04.23 /Turan: On Friday, April 21, in the afternoon, the speed of the north-westerly wind in Baku and on Absheron will be 15-20 m/s, and gusts up to 23 m/s, forecasters of the Ministry of Ecology reported.
There will be occasional precipitation in the regions of the country on April 21, in some places the rains will be intense, hail is possible.
Snow is possible in high-altitude areas.
Precipitation is expected in mountainous and foothill areas on April 22-23. The speed of the westerly wind will be 15-20 m/s.

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
