Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on Monday aimed at improving social welfare, increasing the country’s minimum monthly wage to 400 manats ($235) starting January 1, 2025.

From 2025, the minimum wage in Azerbaijan will be AZN 400, and the minimum pension - 280.

Azerbaijan aims to raise minimum wages and pensions in 2025. Announcement of the increase was provided by President Ilham Aliyev on 23 September at the first meeting of the new Milli Majlis.
