The number of coronavirus infected in Azerbaijan is growing rapidly
Baku / 03.06.20 / Turan: 325 new cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in Azerbaijan, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on June 3.
According to the same source, five patients born in 1954, 1955, 1956, 1973 and 1978 died, tests for coronavirus gave a positive result; 101 people recovered and were discharged from hospitals over the past day.
The total number of people infected with coronavirus reached 6,260, including 3,665 cured, 76 died, 2,519 are treated in special treatment hospitals.
The health of 61 patients is severe, 78 - of moderate severity, and the rest - stable.
To identify infected, 315.527 tests were made.
Today's infection rate has become the largest daily increase in Azerbaijan since the start of the pandemic.
The previous record was recorded on June 2 - 273 cases of infection. –0-

Today, January 6, the pre-election campaign for municipal elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for 23 days later, has officially begun. So far, 16,174 candidates have been registered, according to Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), speaking at a meeting about the elections on January 6.
