Armenian Woman Criticizes Her Relatives - Stop This Nonsense!
Baku / 21.01.20 / Turan: A well-known TV presenter of Armenian descent Sati Spivakova urged her relatives and all others to stop attacking the singer Yusif Eyvazov, whom the Armenians accused of refusing to perform on the same stage with Armenian singer Ruzanna Mantashyan at the festival in Dresden on February 7.
Commenting on this scandal, Sati Spivakova wrote on her Instagram page:
“I answer everyone and immediately to numerous calls to embark on the warpath, reproaching me for being silent about the Dresdengate, risking the fury of some subscribers:
1) Art in general, and Music, in particular, is Territory of one nationality, one religion and universal language.
2) Sowing hatred on politically heated international soil is easier than throwing a burning match into an open tank with gasoline in the middle of a huge forest.
3) No one is able to feel the pain of genetic enmity more strongly than our two peoples, but this pain must be treated, and it can be treated only with love and tolerance, attention and understanding, and most importantly - with the mind, not succumbing to provocation
4) Over the 37 years of my life with Maestro Spivakov, I have witnessed many times how great artists, including my husband, became victims of provocations, intrigues and under-the-carpet fuss of unscrupulous agents, producers, directors, secretaries, as a result of which they collapsed with not only contracts, but also with many years of friendly tandems, regardless of nationality!
5) I believe only what I personally witness! And, with all my admiration for the young Armenian singer Ruzanna Mantashyan, realizing that she is a victim in this dirty and petty story, I want to protect @yusif_eyvazov_official, knowing for certain that he was slandered and framed!
6) I am Armenian, he is Azerbaijani, and if we look at the political context, we will definitely be on opposite sides of the barricades! But for any artist, the nationality of a colleague never plays a role! All artists are citizens of one unlimited country, under the name ART. I want to urge ALL to calm down and stop discussing this nonsense!!!” -02D-

In a world increasingly marred by the effects of climate change, art has emerged as an unexpected, yet powerful, platform for raising awareness and sparking conversations on environmental responsibility. One such endeavor is the exhibition "A Different Kind of Climate," currently on display at Kapellhaus with support from the Goethe-Institut. The timing of this exhibition is no coincidence, aligning with the upcoming COP29, the UN Climate Change Conference to be held in Baku from November 11 to 22. The exhibition seeks to engage audiences on pressing ecological issues, blending local and international perspectives.

Amid the urban hustle and the cacophony of modern life, it is easy to forget that nature too has a voice. But artist Elnara Nasirli, with her latest exhibition "Whisper of the Forest - The Magic of Sound," seeks to remind us of nature's pulse — and its message. Now showing at the Gazelli Art House, Nasirli’s multidisciplinary showcase brings the audience closer to the heart of the forest, where every rustle, every whisper, seems to echo with life.
