Ninety-five Candidates Refuse to Participate in Parliamentary Elections - CEC Head
Baku / 21.01.20 / Turan: 95 candidates registered by the CEC withdrew their candidacies to participate in the February 9 parliamentary elections. This was stated by the head of the CEC Mazahir Panahov at a meeting of the commission on January 21.
He did not provide the names of the candidates and did not state the reasons why they did this. The only thing he said is that 1,542 candidates for deputy are registered today. -02D-
