On Friday, the Baku French Lyceum opened with the head of state.
The French Lyceum was built in the White City and is designed for 320 students.
The area of this modern building is 14 thousand square meters. There are all conditions for the education of children.
The building will accommodate pre-school courses, primary education and college groups. In the current academic year the Lyceum will give education to 100 students.
The students will be French-speaking children of foreigners living in Azerbaijan and local citizens.
The foundation of the Lyceum was laid in October 2011.
Teaching at the Lyceum will be held in French and based on the classic French curriculum.
The certificate issued to the students will meet the standards and requirements of the Ministry of Education of France and recognized by it. -02D-
