Cultural program within the framework of the Forum on Intercultural Dialogue
Baku/04.05.17/Turan: Within the framework of the Fourth World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, a special cultural program will be organized in Baku. The National Bureau for the Promotion of Tourism will be presenting artisans' work, national cuisine and a concert program from 4 to 6 May in Sabira Square. On May 4, at 20:00, a rock concert will be performed by the popular band Radio & Video. On May 5, at 6 pm, an ethno concert will begin, in which popular performers Gunay Ibrahimli, Yashar Yusub, Samir Salam and others will take part. From 21:30 will be "Romantic evening" for jazz and blues. On May 6, at 20:00, Nara White, a soloist of the Dervishband, will present her program, the National Bureau for Tourism Promotion said. On February 11, the Ritual Theatre and Creative Laboratory in Baku hosted a powerful documentary theatre performance, “The Melting Snow Stories of Baku,” marking the conclusion of a workshop dedicated to site-specific theatre. This workshop brought together 15 artists from various age groups, all exploring the transformative power of storytelling to address climate change. The event was directed by British theatre director Sebastian Harcombe of SECRET/HEART Theatre Company and Aynur Zərrintac of Ritual Theatre. It was supported by the British Council.
