ITV says that Azerbaijan voted for Russia
Public Television of Azerbaijan (ITV) issued a statement reading that the votes given by Azerbaijan to the Russian singer Dinah Garipova were not taken into account: "This year Russia’s song was very nice and the performer was very talented. We believe that the high points by the Azerbaijani audience on the basis of SMS voting, as well as the assessment of the national jury at the song contest "Eurovision-2013" was not adequate to the announced score."
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia, Polad Bulbul oglu, in an interview with the "Bulletin of the Caucasus", said that in fact the Azerbaijan gave Russia 10 points, but these voices have gone missing. What exactly happened is unknown, but the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has already instructed to clarify this unpleasant incident.
Currently, he said, Azerbaijan is recounting the number of calls. Garipova took the fifth place in the competition, and in the final counting votes not any point was given her from Azerbaijan.—0—
