Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe - the theme of the contest Media ADAMI, which is held for the third time. Broadcast media of the "Eastern Partnership" countries can submit to the contest materials and work on regional, religious, cultural, historical and ethnic diversity. In total, the contest provides 6 awards in 6 categories, including TV and online media. Additionally, there are prizes for young filmmakers and journalists.
ADAMI Competition will cover the representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Armenia. Those wishing to participate should register on the website: www.adamimediaprize.eu
Deadline October 10, 2016. Winners will be announced in November 2016 in Kiev.

The search for identity and meaning in life by modern humans is a topic recently addressed by many artists. The group exhibition "Everything Will Be Alright: Tomorrow or Someday" at YAY Gallery features works by Rasim Babayev, Elshan Baba, Orkhan Huseynov, Terlan Gorchu, Aida Mahmudova, Qafar Rzayev, Zamir Suleymanov, and CHINGIZ. This exhibition explores various aspects of truth and identity through the contemporary lens. Curated by Zahra Mammadova, the exhibition focuses on how art influences individuals.

Some periods in cultural history have not been deeply studied, and finding precise, detailed information in the Azerbaijani language is nearly impossible. One such period is the Qajar era, which lasted from 1794 to 1985.
