Resignation of Armenian Defense Minister is because of the violation of ceasefire
Baku/07.28.21/Turan: The Armenian armed forces continue provocations on the Kelbajar section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, subjecting the positions of the Azerbaijani army to intensive shelling. A retired colonel, military expert Uzeir Jafarov talks about the measures taken by the Azerbaijani army and the situation in this region as a whole in the "Difficult Question" program.
Jafarov noted that the main reason for the recent resignation of Armenian Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan is the regular violation of the ceasefire by illegal armed formations of Armenians, which damages the reputation of the Russian peacekeepers and Russia as a whole.
He said that the Russian military contingent in Karabakh is doing anything itself, but not fulfilling the peacekeeping mission entrusted to it. In order to avoid tension, the "peacekeepers" had to first disarm the Armenians. It was for this purpose that they were invited to the region. Instead, they themselves are violating the ceasefire. It was the Russian peacekeepers who started the shooting (July 15 - Ed.) in the direction of Shusha. If this happens again, we will have to demand that they leave our territory.
“Russia is trying to delay the signing of the peace agreement. The signing of this document means recognition of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and, accordingly, the conflict as a whole. The logic is simple - as long as there is tension, there can be no talk of signing a peace agreement,” Jafarov is convinced. —0—

This move has stirred a discourse that spans beyond U.S. borders, roping in responses from Azerbaijani pro-government media and eliciting comments from local political figures like Natig Jafarli, chairman of the REAL Party in Azerbaijan.
