53rd ICARDA Board of Trustees meeting opens in Baku
Board of Trustees of ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas) will meet tomorrow in Baku on 53 regular meeting to discuss urgent problems of agricultural production.
The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture told Turan, that the meeting, which will end on December 4th, will discuss the results given in different parts of the world of research programs , the effects of climate change on agriculture and food security. One of the themes of discussion will be the preservation of biodiversity and integrated gene. Powered ICARDA implemented projects livestock, fisheries and the protection of ecosystems, the results of which will be given information.
The ICARDA Board of Trustees is to approve research and investment plans for the coming years. The meeting will be attended by managers of programs and national agricultural research systems of about 30 countries. - 08D
