Accounting Chamber Finds Financial Violations in Sheki Region’s SSPF Unit
BAKU / 21.09.16 / TURAN: The regular meeting of the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan has been held. According to the report, the agenda, among other things, included the approval of the results of the audit of public funds in organizations and enterprises subordinated to the Executive Power of the Garadagh district of the capital.
The audit in the Sheki branch of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population revealed serious financial irregularities in the calculation of pensions and in determining the level of deductions through the state obligatory insurance fund. Documentary falsifications that caused considerable damage to the state budget have been identified in the activities of the representative of the local executive power in the village of Sheki.
Following the discussion, the materials of the case will be sent not only to the Parliament, but also to the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan. --17D-
