Action against users of fake radio-electronic means
In 2012, 1,277 electronic means that did not pass state registration were identified.
According to the State Administration of Radio Frequencies (SARF) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, the fake equipment was discovered during the inspection in 848 organizations, enterprises and companies.
Of the said equipment they registered 544 units, sealed 400 and wrote off 33 in connection with 296 works on reception at check-in.
For the offenders they made up 67 minutes due to the violation of the Code of Administrative Offences, and implemented appropriate legal measures.
Information on the planned audits of electronic means in 2013 is transmitted and validated in a single information register of the Ministry of Justice. -17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
