Agency for Vocational Education to Train Specialists in Framework of International Programs
The Azerbaijani President signed a decree on the establishment and operation of the State Agency for Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education.
According to the document, the purpose of creating a new structure is improving the effectiveness of training in primary special vocational education and training of competitive skilled labor.
According to the Regulations on the activities of the agency, it creates vocational schools, trains specialists on the job, coordinates their work, takes measures for the development of material and technical base of vocational schools, creates a program of cooperation with employers, prepares and implements a methodology to teach students in informal and formal methods, and coordinates international programs and projects in order to gain experience by local experts. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
